The hand made ornament is part of the Sculptlings Ornament Collection by artist Cynthia Lamb. The drummer ornament, now called “Jimmy the Drummer Ornament,” is the prototype of The Musical Squirrels character. Each ornament was designed in 2014 as part of the Sculptlings Original Ornament Collection. Furthermore, the story of Jimmy came after the ornament was made. In the next series of these figurines, we will be making the actual character from Sculptling Books. In addition, these original prototype will be discontinued. A Little History on The Drummer Ornament
When you purchase a Sculptlings Ornament you are getting the Sculptlings Original. Some ornaments were made in 1997 and Trademarked in 2014. The original Sculptlings ornament was the 1st of the Sculptlings Collection. Every part of the ornament is made out of colored clay. So, if you look close you will see that there is no paint application. They have been hand glazed for a shiny sealed protection so that the colors will not fade.
